International Antarctic Centre

Went to the International Antarctic Center today. Super cool: Rode the hägglund (they made an Antarctic simulation course for it) Experienced a small storm in the snow chamber (temps stayed at 17*F, got down to -5*F) Saw the little penguins being fed (they are part of a rescue program for the little penguins that live in nz) Met the husky dogs that used to be used (complete with a very enthusiastic presentation by the trainer about the dogs [and how they should get some respect!]) Overall, much more than we expected! Next time I’ll wear pants.
