Cook Straight

The North and South Islands of New Zealand are separated by a body of water known as the Cook Straight, which is only about thirteen miles (22 km) wide at its narrowest point. We took the 93 kilometers (58 miles) journey for three-and-a-half hours. We had beautiful views of the Wellington Harbour and the fjord-like channels and inlets of the Marlborough Sounds.
