Kia Ora - New Zealand

We made it to New Zealand! Robbie will be teaching this coming semester at the University of Otago in Christchurch. Before heading to Christchurch, we are exploring a bit of the North Island. Here is a fun partially inverted map showing the size and relative latitude of New Zealand and Australia compared to the western United States. New Zealander is home to about 4.5 million “kiwis”/people. The Maori named the country, Aotearoa, "The Land of the Long White Cloud."
