More Trains!

We had more train adventures today. Our route required 3 different trains and then a bus for 6 hours of travel. Learning from our previous mistakes, we left with plenty of time to spare. That train went well and we played games as we went. When we arrived our next train was at the station on the next platform waiting for us, but we didn’t see the ticket counter. So we hurried and bought tickets online. After we departed, they were checking tickets and it turned out we bought tickets for the wrong day. We were charged $50 each for having invalid tickets. But at least we were able to stay on the train. More lessons learned! We were able to ride the next train with zero hiccups, hooray! But we were definitely holding our breath when they came by to check our tickets. We decided to skip the bus and get a taxi. He tried to over charge us — ugh, we hate the black box of taxi charges. The roads were steep and windy, but we finally got to our house!
