Fimmvörðuháls

Today Harvey and I hiked Fimmvörðuháls. This epic hike was 25km (15.5mi) and had 1400m (4600ft) elevation gain. We rocked it by finishing in 7hrs 22min (6hrs 44min moving time). We saw 25+ waterfalls, crossed a glacier, passed though recent lava flows, saw gorgeous mountain views, and a vibrant landscape of colorful vegetation. We even saw an artic fox up close!! Fran and Robbie had an adventure picking us up. We didn’t realize that road involved 13 river crossings!
