Farms

For dinner we ate at Efstidalur, a local family owned farm that specializes in Farm to Table cuisine. They had viewing windows of the cows eating right in the restaurant! Not sure if we have had so fresh and local of a hamburger, milk, and ice cream before! Like the Icelandic horses, Icelandic cattle and chickens were brought over by the Norse in the 9th century and have been genetically isolated for a thousand years.
