Cottage

Our AirBnb is this cute little cabin off a dirt road in a remote area. We drive over a cute narrow bridge to get here. The house had toys from their kids, it was just what Harvey and Fran needed — a quiet evening just playing toys in a house. I went down the hill and took pictures of the Icelandic horses! They are so cute! Icelandic horses were brought to Iceland by the Norse in the 9th century. They are a special breed of horses that is smaller, almost pony sized, and have lots of hair. These horses are really important to Icelandic culture, so no other horses are allowed in the country or out of the country to keep them distinct and isolated. Oh, and the volcano about 80 miles away is erupting right now.
