Gyeongbokgung Palace
Today we visited Gyeongbokgung Palace. This was the main royal palace of the Joseon dynasty built in 1395. The complex has a numerous royal buildings that were built over the years, some destroyed by Japan’s occupation in the early 20th century.
We were able to see the changing the royal guard. The architecture on the palace buildings were beautiful, especially with the fall foliage. There were so many people dressed in Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) taking photos.
