Nanortalik Greenland

Nanortalik is the 11th largest town in Greenland with approximately 1,100 people. Nanortalik is an island on the almost southern most tip of Greenland. At about 40 degrees and 40 mph winds, we were freezing!! Freezing with the winds, we didn't last too long, but Robbie ran to the summit of Ravnefjeldet, raven mountain. Even though Nanortalik means "Place Where the Polar Bears Go”, they don't get many polar bears and wildlife is sparse, mostly just ravens!
