Daintree Rainforest National Park
It was so hot and muggy (85% humidity and 97 deg F), but a trip to Northern Queensland Australia would not be complete without visiting the Daintree Rainforest. The Daintree is the oldest rainforest in the world, over 180 million years old. It is a biodiversity hot spot and home to plants and animals endemic to the area. It has species that have been around since before the dinosaurs.
We visited the Discovery center that had board walks and interpretive signs. We sweated a lot!
