Walkerville - Promontory View

For our second night, we stayed in a caravan park right on the ocean. It was beautiful! We went on a bush walk up to an overlook of Waratah Bay. Along the trail we saw an echidna up close!! In the class mammalia, there are three main groups: monotremes, marsupials, and placentals. The Order of Monotremes consist of four species of Echidnas and platypus — they lay eggs. Marsupials were the young are born young and finish development in the mothers pouch. Then the placentals are the most common mammals were the fetus is carried in the uterus until a late stage of development.
