Lumpini Park

On the recommendation from some friends that were in Bangkok just before us, we went to Lumpini Park to see the Asian Water Monitors (Varanus salvator). These giant lizards just roam around the park and in the lake oblivious that they are in the middle of the city. We used the free pedal boats and explored the lake enjoying spotting the monitors, birds, fish, and turtles.
