Surf Lessons - Weligama

Today we had surf lessons in Weligama! We started off on the beach learning proper technique. Then we went out. Our instructor would give our board an extra push and tell us when to paddle and stand. We all were successful a few times riding the wave in! Fran did the best because with her light weight, she was able to stay balanced. It is hard to get all of the pieces right. It has been super rainy here in the south coast, so although it was still raining, I’m glad we were able to get out.
