Kandy Sacred Temple of the Tooth

We then went to the most sacred and special site for Buddhist in Sri Lanka. This temple houses the famous relic of the Buddha's tooth transported to Sri Lanka from India in the 4th century. There we were able to bring a flower offering to Buddha and see the chamber that holds the relic.
